• We help you to find a good language partner(Japanese member) who help you to learn Japanese conversation, basic Japanese, Japanese culture, etc.

Learning Catchball Japanese members

• Our Japanese members are happy to help you to learn Japanese for free, in return please help our Japanese members to learn English conversation for free.

• We have about 1500 Japanese members(2025/February).

• Learn Japanese:
  Our Japanese members are all native Japanese speakers and keen to learn and teach language. They like to have language exchange lessons regularly, so you can have a lot of opportunities to learn and speak Japanese. Please tell us what you like to learn on the application form. They will be happy to help you to learn Japanese.

• Help our Japanese members to learn English :
  Our Japanese members have basic English grammar skills, but they are not good at speaking English because they have few opportunities to practice conversation. So please have conversation with them in English and help them to improve their English speaking skills.

First you can have trial language exchange lessons!!

• Please submit the application form at the bottom of this page if you like to try language exchange lesson with our Japanese members.

• We'll match you with our Japanese member who fits your needs after we receive your application.

• If there are any members you like to have trial language exchange lessons, please fill out Entry No you like to contact in the blank『your requests』on the application form. If you have any questions/requests to the member, please fill in them, too.

• If there are not any members you like to contact below, you don't need to fill out Entry No in the blank. After we receive your application, we will try to introduce you other Japanese members as per your requests.

Application

StepⅠ:Introduction

• After we receive your application, we'll ask you some questions and try to introduce you our Japanese members(language partner's candidate) who fit your needs.

• After you check the member's profile,
  if you like to have trial language exchange lessons with the member, we will exchange your email address with the member's email address.
  if you don't accept the Japanese member, we will try to arrange other Japanese members for you.

• If it is difficult to fix your availability, we try to introduce you our Japanese members who can be flexible with the timing, then you can talk with the Japanese member about the schedule and decide.

• If you fill out this week Japanese member's Entry No you like to have trial language exchange lessons in the application form, we will ask the Japanese member if he/she likes to have trial language exchange lessons with you or not. If he/she likes, we will confirm with you again if you like or not. Then we will exchange your email address with the member's email address.

Step Ⅱ:Trial language exchange

Trial language exchange for 1 month

• You can have trial language exchange lessons several times within 1 month after we forward our Japanese member's email address to you.

• Let's talk with the Japanese members about how to do the language exchange lessons each other and check if language exchange lessons with the Japanese members are good or not during the trial period.

• After trial language exchange lessons,
  If you decide to continue the language exchange with the Japanese members, please go to Step Ⅲ and pay the introduction(matching fee)
  If you decide not to continue, you don't need to pay the introduction(matching) fee. We will try to introduce you other members if you like.

Step Ⅲ:Payment

• Introduction(matching) fee is a result based fee:After the trial language exchange lessons, we confirm if you will continue the language exchange with the Japanese member or not.

• Only in case you and our Japanese member agree on continuing the language exchange, we will charge you the introduction(matching) fee.

• Paypal : We would like you to make this payment with paypal if you are outside Japan.

Learning materials(optional)

• If you like, please select 『Yes, I like』on the application form. Then we will send you the sample page for learning materials.

• You can learn the following Japanese by yourself. When you have any questions, let's ask your language partners (Japanese members)

• Hiragana/Basic Japanese vocabulary

• Japanese conversation sentences/phrase

• Your personal information is not open to the public.

• Please note that depending on your conditions/requests, it takes time to arrange our Japanese members or we can not arrange for you. If we judge you are less motivated to learn Japanese language, we can not provide you with our language exchange lesson service.

  We do not check each member's ID.
  We do not take any responsibility for any troubles between you and our Japanese members.

• ※Introduction(matching) fee 5000yen : Please select "I agree". You need pay the introduction fee after you decide to continue the language exchange with our Japanese members. If you select "I don't agree", then we can't introduce you our Japanese members.
