Online Japanese lesson

• Please select online private lesson or online group lesson and submit the application for a free trial lesson at the bottom of this page. After we receive your application, we will guide you to the trial lesson.

• Online private lesson : Japanese teachers at Japanese Learning Support offer you a free trial lesson and regular lessons. We Learning Catchball has a partnership with Japanese Learning Support.

• Online group lesson : We Learning Catchball offer you a free trial lesson and regular lessons.

Online private lesson

• Online private lesson are for all levels of Japanese learners and can focus on what you like to learn.

• We can offer online private lessons between 7:30am and 23:30pm every day (Japan time)

Step 1 : Application

• Please fill in what you like to learn on the application form at the bottom of this page.

• After we receive your application, we ask you the following questions
  1. What day of the week and what time are you available to take lessons?
  2. After the trial lesson, if you decide to apply, how many lessons a month do you like to take?

Step 2 : Free trial lesson

• After we confirm with Japanese Learning Support if they can offer you a free trial lesson around the time you like to take a trial lesson, we forward your email address to them. Then they guide you to the trial lesson by email.

• Japanese teachers at Japanese Learning Support offer you a free trial lesson(20 to 30 minutes) and suggest a lesson plan as per your requests. If you have any questions or requests, you can ask them at the free trial lesson.

Step 3 : Confirmation

• After the trial lesson, we confirm with you if you apply for online private lesson or not.

Step 4 : Payment

• If you decide to apply, you need to transfer tuition to Japanese Learning Support. Basically you need to pay monthly fee in advance before you start to take lessons.

• You can select a course after the free trial lesson.

• ※Textbooks fees are not included in the above lesson fee.

• ※Payment method : You can select credit card or paypal. If you make the payment with paypal, there's a 5% surcharge.

Online group lessons

• Online group lesson are for JLPT N4 and N3 level Japanese learners.

• JLPT N4 class=Pre-intermediate level
• JLPT N3 class=Intermediate level

• To join our online group lessons(JLPT N4 or N3 level), you need to know how to make Te form and Futu(plain) form.

Lesson course

• The following lesson time is in JST(Japan time)

Lesson fees

• ※Payment method : We ask you to pay with paypal. If you make the payment with paypal, there's a 5% surcharge.

• We have 12 lessons a month. If you take all lessons, it is 18,000yen. If it is difficult to take all lessons, you can pay only for the days you can attend. 1 lesson = 1,500yen. If you take 10 lessons a month, it will be 15,000yen. Please note that you need to tell us in advance before you make payment which days you can't attend. After you make payment, we can't refund you even if you skip the classes

• And we offer you learning materials in the lesson you can't attend, so you can catch up by yourself.

• We are offering the following learning materials in online group lessons.

• If you like sample learning materials, please select 『Yes I like』on the application form at the bottom of this page. After we receive your application, we will send you the sample learning materials.

  If you are not sure of Hiragana and Katakana, please select 『0 level』
  If you are sure of Hiragana/Katakana, but not sure of making basic sentences in Japanese, please select 『Hiragana level』
  If you are sure of making basic sentences in Japanese, but you are not sure of Japanese basic form(Te form/Futu(plain) form), please select 『Basic sentence level』
